Ryo Kawakita (川北 亮, Kawakita Ryō), also known as Maximum the Ryokun (マキシマムザ亮君, Makishimamu Za Ryōkun) is the clean vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter of Maximum the Hormone. He was born on December 13, 1978 in Machida, Tokyo. When he produces for Cottelee, Ryo goes under the name Sasa Sasajima (笹島ササ, Sasajima Sasa)
