Maximum the Hormone is a Japanese metal(???) band formed in 1997. The band consists of Daisuke Tsuda (vocals), Maximum the Ryo-kun (guitar), Ue-Chan(g) [bass], Nao Kawakita (drums) and Gouda Pleeng (kazoo)
Despite mostly being considered a hardcore punk/nu-metal band, MTH also makes pop, breakcore, funk, and whatever the hell My Girl is. Jokes aside, Maximum the Hormone has one of the most diverse discographies I've ever heard, especially for a metal band; the band is made up of geniuses.
